A Lighthouse Without Light - Hatozaki Small Batch
Hatozaki Small Batch promises balance and elegance, but for me it’s more whisper than whisky. Floral, honey, and fruit on the nose, apricot and malt on the palate, with a clean, floral finish. Subtle to the point of fading fast — a pour that never really finds its backbone. A bogey pour, and a left swipe in the GolfCask review.
